The Higher Education Union is striking
No classes no Wednesday and Thursday. Not sure though as I have missed my last wednesday class where it was probably announce whethere there would be classes or not.

it’s all bout getting a fair pay deal. There will be picket lines in front of the doors. (If you don’t know picket line, I had to look it up as well. it is “Streikpostenkette”) And the students are striking as well on Wednesday.
Might be interesting to go and see what happens, if really nobody works there or what.
My Software Architecture lecturer who is also in the yoga class told me about it yesterday. About half of the staff is a member of the union and they are supposed not to work. Not sure what the other half is going to do.
Striking is a breach of the contract but if a majority of the members of a union vote for it they are somehow protected by a law and usually just get a day worth of salary deducted.
